How we correct paint, panel by panel
Five disciplined stages, measured at every panel. It is slower than a quick polish, and it is the reason our finishes survive the first wash.
01Stage one
Inspection and paint depth mapping
Every panel is examined under 3,200K, 5,000K and 6,500K light, then measured with an ultrasonic gauge. Readings go into your vehicle file so we know exactly how much clear coat is available before any pad touches paint.

02Stage two
Decontamination
Foam pre-soak, two-bucket hand wash, iron fallout remover, tar remover and a clay mitt pass. A perfectly clean, smooth surface is the only safe starting point for machine polishing.

03Stage three
Compounding
A test spot decides the least aggressive pad and compound that still removes the defect. We cut in overlapping passes at controlled speed, wiping and checking constantly under a sun gun.

04Stage four
Polishing and jeweling
Soft foam pads and fine finishing polish remove compounding haze and micro-marring. On black and deep metallic paint, a final jeweling pass brings out the wet, liquid depth that concours judges look for.

05Stage five
Panel wipe and protection
An isopropyl panel wipe strips every trace of oil so the result can be judged honestly. Then we lock the finish in with sealant, a multi-layer ceramic coating or paint protection film.

Yes. A coating locks in whatever is underneath it, including swirls. Every coating package includes the level of correction needed, from a one-stage enhancement to a three-stage correction.
They solve different problems. PPF stops rock chips and scratches. Ceramic coating adds gloss, chemical resistance and easy cleaning. Most clients with new exotics choose front-end PPF with ceramic coating over the entire car.
Yes. We offer enclosed, insured transport across Los Angeles for studio services. Collection within 15 miles of the Arts District is complimentary on packages over $1,500.
Every car arrives in a different condition. We confirm the final price after a free in-person paint inspection, and we never start work that goes beyond the approved quote without your sign-off.
Our tiers are rated at 2, 5 and 9 years with correct maintenance: hand washing with pH-neutral shampoo and an annual inspection. Automatic brush washes shorten any coating's life.
